One member asked why a select few get toxic. My response:
It isn’t a select few. Unfortunately, many are walking time bombs.
In the article below, the best minds reviewed the research to find metabolic answers. There are theories, but no answers. In other words, the review of the research by the experts cannot come up with a solid metabolic reason for toxicity.

Although altmed wants to contribute the problem to the M-T-H-F-R crazy, this gene has nothing to do with B6 toxicity. There is very little evidence for a genetic reason.
This is an epidemic. Why?

In the article above, the researchers were looking for deficiency in hospital patients. Out of 269 subjects, they only found 2% were deficient. What they found instead is that 38% of the participants were toxic.
This a study looking for deficiency! What if there was a study looking for toxicity instead? In other words, anyone coming into the ER with a list of symptoms that doctors want to label as anxiety would get a B6 blood test? What would the percentage be? 70%? 80%? 90%? If there are any researchers in the group that want to start this experiment, please do so!
If this were a metabolic or genetic issue, simply hydrating and adjusting our diet wouldn’t bring our B6 levels down to the low-normal range in just two to four weeks. Moreover, it wouldn’t remain at that level while we are hydrating and consuming the recommended daily allowance of B6. A genetic or metabolic problem would persist, hindering our ability to properly metabolize B6. Therefore, the low-normal blood results indicate that the issue is not metabolic or genetic.
